 FAQs

  • After you submit the New Client Information form, we'll review your details and may contact your referring agency to confirm we've received all necessary referrals.

We'll then send you our Program Enrollment documents by text or email for you to complete and submit electronically. We'll also reach out to schedule your first appointment.

Your first appointment will be either an initial evaluation or a program orientation session, depending on your referral. Some agencies require an evaluation before you can start your program. Others allow direct admission into a group program, which begins with an orientation to finalize your enrollment.

After we receive your referral, our administrative staff will contact you and inform you of your exact enrollment steps. Typically, the following can be expected:

    1. Comprehensive Assessment: All individuals referred by DSS require a comprehensive evaluation before the start of their program. A comprehensive evaluation can include a 14-panel drug screen if there are concerns about alcohol and/or drug use.

    2. Behavioral Health Evaluation: All individuals referred by the Pretrial Intervention Services require a behavioral health evaluation before the start of their program. A behavioral health evaluation can include a 14-panel drug screen if there are concerns about alcohol and/or drug use.

    3. Group Program Orientation: Individuals who don't require an evaluation must attend an orientation before starting their program. Depending on your referring agency and location, this orientation may be and conducted virtually or by phone.

Following your evaluation or orientation session, you will be scheduled for future treatment sessions.

    • Aetna

    • Blue Cross Blue Shield

    • Optum

Your initial Program Enrollment forms will let you enter your insurance information and upload a copy of your insurance card so we can verify your coverage. Please note that we must verify your insurance benefits before your first appointment. If we don't have the information needed by then, you'll be required to pay out of pocket until coverage is confirmed.

After your first session, we'll submit the appointment details to your insurance company. Each policy has different requirements, so you may need to pay out of pocket for co-pays or sessions until you meet your deductible. If your insurance doesn't cover services because your yearly deductible hasn't been met, you'll be responsible for payment until it is.
